About Jerry Fabiano
Dr. Jerry Fabiano has over twenty years of experience in dispute resolution participating regularly in negotiations, mediation, fact-finding and arbitration. He received his Ph.D. in history and political science from New York University. Jerry also served as a professor at New York University, the State University at Oneonta and was the Chairman of the Social Sciences Division at Fulton Montgomery Community College.
Jerry was the Higher Education Specialist for the National Education Association of New York. His responsibilities included negotiations of collective bargaining agreements as well as advocating during mediation sessions and arbitration hearings. Jerry Fabiano was an original member of the Tri-County Mediation Center and has served as a mediator for the Center dealing primarily with custody and visitation issues for over fifteen years. He is currently serving as the Center’s Lemon Law arbitrator and provides them assistance with divorce mediation cases. Jerry is a member of the Public Employment Relations Board’s part time mediators’ panel and his responsibilities with this state agency afford him opportunities to assist in labor impasses throughout the state. He also serves as an arbitrator in Lawyer Fee arbitration cases. He is trained as a divorce mediator and is a member of the New York State Council of Divorce Mediation. He is available to mediate and arbitrate any private matters and issues.
Jerry has offices in Schenectady and Johnstown. If neither is convenient for you, he will travel within the Capital District to meet where it is convenient for you and your spouse.
